Architect/Developer
QUALIFICATIONS
- 9+ years of experience as an Engineer/Architect supporting and driving innovation in a Middleware environment
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions
- Demonstrated experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
- Ability to utilize a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions
- Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Developers within the wider IT teams
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
- A demonstrable understanding of the Agile software development methodology
- Extensive experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions
- Proficiency with server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies: Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, Maven
- Experience with Apache Camel is a must
- Experience with message queue- Message Oriented Middleware- (MOM) software
- Client-side language, library, and framework proficiency: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS
- Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage

REQUIREMENTS
- · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field with two – three (2-3) years of relevant architecture experience OR Master’s degree in identified fields of study with one – two 1-2 years of relevant architecture experience;
- · Seven – Ten (7-10) years of experience in various areas of IT;
- · Expert knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design and integration;
- · Experience working as a project lead for multiple IT projects, to include those of high complexity which required in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments;
- · Experience with Reemployment Assistance (RA) Claims & Benefits system (CONNECT), uFACTS, or similar Unemployment Compensation (UC) system;
- · C# software development skills;
- · Relational database skills;
- · Knowledge of N-Tier Architecture;
- · Knowledge of .Net 3.5 or later;
- · Abilities as a team member on a team of 5 or more developers;
- · Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall Development Methodology;
- · Knowledge of .Net 4.0 Framework or later;· Knowledge of ASP.Net;
- · Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 or later;
